False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements
These courses start out at NCV level two as well as the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.
When the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which type of scholars are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that conventional schooling is not really necessarily the sole method of getting an artisan or becoming capable therefore if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is really perfectly fitted to that student.
