False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are made available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These classes start off at NCV level two along with read more the minimum amount requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which type of students are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional website schooling is just not necessarily the one method of becoming an artisan or starting to be certified therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is really properly suited for that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
